Ex Philly Cop Gets Prison For Sending Threatening Texts: Feds

PHILADELPHIA – A former Philadelphia police officer was sentenced to two year in prison for sending hundreds of anonymous threatening text messages for several years to his ex lover's boyfriend, according to federal authorities. U.S. Attorney William M. McSwain announced that Bryan McGraw, 49, of Philadelphia, was sentenced Monday to 24 months' imprisonment for sending hundreds of harassing text messages over a four-year period. In addition to the 24-month prison term, McGraw was ordered to serve one year of supervised release upon release from prison and to pay a fine of $1,200 and a special assessment of $100.
